Indy Lewis (born 2001 or 2002) is a British actress recognized for her work in television dramas across the UK, Spain, and the United States. She has gained attention for her roles in Industry, La Fortuna, King & Conqueror, and House of David.

 

 

Early Life and Education

Lewis was born in Chelsea, London, to a family of legal professionals—her father is a judge and her mother a barrister. She grew up in Kingston upon Thames and is of Welsh and Sri Lankan descent. Her older sister, Ashani Lewis, is a writer.

 

She attended the Tiffin Girls' School and initially planned to study international relations at Durham University. However, she took a gap year during which she applied to drama school and was accepted at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA). To accommodate her burgeoning acting career, she switched from the three-year degree program to the one-year foundation course.

 

 

Career

Lewis began her professional career at age 18 when she auditioned for a guest role in the first season of the BBC Two and HBO investment banking drama Industry (2020). Her performance as Venetia Berens earned her a promotion to series regular in the second season (2022).

 

She expanded her international profile with the role of Amy Wild in the Spanish-American adventure series La Fortuna (2021), starring alongside Stanley Tucci and T'Nia Miller.

In 2025, Lewis appeared in the BBC One medieval drama King & Conqueror as Margaret and portrayed Mychal in the Amazon Prime biblical series House of David.
