Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy
Biography
Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy is an Indian cinematographer and Director of Photography who works primarily in Tamil cinema. He is known for his visual work on projects including Postman (2019), Theeviram (2020), and DeAr (2024).
He served as the cinematographer for the ZEE5 Tamil web series Postman (2019), directed by Prashanth Gunasekaran. The series follows a postman who wakes from a 23-year coma and sets out to deliver eight letters that were left undelivered.
Sundaramurthy later handled cinematography for Theeviram (2020), a Tamil drama thriller directed by Michael Muthu. His other major credit is DeAr (2024), directed by Anand Ravichandran and starring G. V. Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh. He was credited as the film's cinematographer.
His earlier credits include the short films Machan enaku iniki Kalyanam (2013) and Atleast oru Mutham..! (2014), demonstrating his experience in cinematography before moving into larger feature-film and streaming productions.
