Jaker's cricketing journey began in Sylhet, and he represented Bangladesh in the 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his first-class debut for Sylhet Division in 2016. His consistent performances in domestic cricket, including the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), earned him his first T20 International call-up in March 2023.
