Jake Schur is an American film and television producer, writer, and entrepreneur known for his work on The Kid (2019) and the acclaimed television series Mayor of Kingstown (2021). With a passion for grounded, character-driven storytelling, Schur has built a reputation for developing powerful narratives that blend emotional depth with gritty realism.
Born and raised in the United States, Schur began his career in media and production before transitioning into film. He made his mark as the producer and co-writer of The Kid, a reimagining of the legendary story of Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett.
