Biography
Jake Seal is a British film producer, entrepreneur, and studio executive known for his work in independent and international cinema. He has produced numerous films across action, drama, thriller, comedy, and documentary genres.
Career
Seal began his producing career with the action thriller Last Hour, which featured DMX, Michael Madsen, David Carradine, Paul Sorvino, and Monica Cruz. He subsequently worked on a range of international productions and became involved in studio and film-production ventures.
Among his notable producing credits are Born to Be Blue (2015), Blaze (2018), Grand Isle (2019), Willy's Wonderland (2021), The System (2022), and 97 Minutes (2023).
97 Minutes
Seal served as one of the producers of 97 Minutes (2023), directed by Timo Vuorensola and written by Pavan Grover. The action thriller stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Alec Baldwin, MyAnna Buring, and Jo Martin. The film follows a hijacked Boeing 767 with only 97 minutes of fuel remaining while an undercover Interpol agent attempts to prevent a catastrophe.
Studio Work
Seal has also been associated with film-production facilities and organizations including ORWO Studios and Black Hangar Studios. His work has supported productions such as The Maze Runner, The Magnificent Seven, Dumbo, Mission: Impossible, and other international projects.
