He became the CEO of Dasepo Club in 2006, which was founded by his mentor veteran producer AHN Dong-kyu. He produced the TV series (Dasepo Girls), based on the original webcomic of the same name that was also adapted into a film the same year by E J-yong.

He later produced the drama (Way Back Home) (2013), starring JEON Do-Yeon, which notably involved filming at a prison in Martinique, in the Caribbean, and also contributed to the production of the critically acclaimed thriller (A Hard Day) (2013).

In 2013, he established a new film production company, BA Entertainment, with which he would notably co-executive produce the survival drama film (Tunnel) (2016) and MA Dong-seok vehicle (THE OUTLAWS0 (2017), which pulled in impressive figures at the box office.
