Jason Bateman (born January 14, 1969) is an American actor, director, and producer who has enjoyed a remarkably enduring and multifaceted career in Hollywood. Born in Rye, New York, Bateman's acting journey began at a young age, landing roles in popular television shows like "Little House on the Prairie," "Silver Spoons," and "The Hogan Family," establishing him as a teen idol in the 1980s.   

 

 

Despite early success, Bateman navigated a period of less prominent roles before experiencing a significant career resurgence in the early 2000s. This comeback was largely fueled by his critically acclaimed performance as the level-headed Michael Bluth in the groundbreaking and beloved sitcom "Arrested Development" (2003-2006, 2013, 2018-2019).
