Jaz Sinclair

Biography

Beginning her career with short movies like Into Dust (2009), A Race Against Time: The Sharla Butler Story (2011), and Ordained (2013), Jasmine Sinclair Sabino, known in film circles as Jaz Sinclair, is an American film and television actress. 

 

In 2014 she starred as Kim Carson in the NBC Networks post-apocalyptic science fiction TV series, Revolution (2012-2014). Sinclair next starred as Tasha Williams on the hit TNT detective TV show, Rizzoli & Isles (2010-2016). 

 

She has also appeared in the hit vampire romantic-drama TV show, The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017) and the adult comedy TV show, Easy (2016- ). Later this year, Sinclair will be seen playing Rosalind Walker in the Netflix series adapted from the comic book series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Sinclair made her silver screen debut in 2015 with the mystery, comedy-drama, Paper Towns. The movie based on John Green's 2008 novel of the same name was directed by Jake Schreier and had Cara Delevingne, and Nat Wolff in the lead roles. The movie was a moderate success at the box office. 

 

In 2016 Sinclair played the antagonist in Jon Cassar's psychological thriller, When the Bough Breaks. The movie bombed at the box office. Sinclair's next starring role came in Alethea Jones' comedy, Fun Mom Dinner (2017). It met with bad critical and commercial response. 

 

In 2018 Sinclair starred in director Sylvain White's supernatural horror film, Slender Man. The movie is based on the creepypasta Internet meme created by Eric Knudsen. The movie also has Annalise Basso, Joey King, Julia Goldani Telles, Javier Botet, and Alex Fitzalan in important roles.
