Jennifer Winget
Biography
Jennifer Winget, born 30 May 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is an Indian actress and television personality who primarily works in Hindi television and streaming series. She began acting as a child, appearing in films such as Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995), before making her television debut with Shaka Laka Boom Boom in 2002.
She gained recognition through roles in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dill Mill Gayye, and Saraswatichandra, where her portrayal of Kumud Sundari Desai earned her an Indian Television Academy Award. She later received widespread acclaim for playing the intense and complex Maya Mehrotra in Beyhadh and Zoya Siddiqui in Bepannah.
Winget made her streaming debut with the crime drama Code M (2020–2022), playing Major Monica Mehra, an Indian Army lawyer investigating a controversial encounter case. The role earned her a Filmfare OTT Awards nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
She later starred as lawyer Anushka Raisinghani in the 2024 legal drama Raisinghani vs Raisinghani, opposite Karan Wahi.
Winget is particularly known for portraying strong, layered, and emotionally complex female characters, and has established herself as one of the prominent actresses in Indian television and digital entertainment.
