Joel Negron
Biography
Joel Negron is an American film editor. Since his feature film debut in the 1987 drama Heaven and Earth, he has helmed the editorial department in around 20 films. Some of his best-known works include the science fiction action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), the martial arts drama film The Karate Kid (2010), the neo-noir action comedy The Nice Guys (2016) and the 2017 Marvel superhero film Thor: Ragnarok.
Besides these, Negron has also worked as an assistant editor on films like True Lies (1994), Mars Attacks (1996), and Con Air (1997). Other notable film credits include Sleepy Hollow (1999), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), and The Shallows (2016).
