Joey Sasso
Biography
Joey Sasso grew up in Rochester, New York where acting and a film career were always at the forefront. Being inspired by Filmmaking at a young age led Joey to start making his own movies on his family's home video recorder. It did not take long for Joey to realize that he needed to be in front of the camera.
Once doing so, he immediately began studying in his town's local theatre company at the age of 6. Discipline and hard work were learned at an early age as Joey key busy throughout the year playing Football, Baseball, and Basketball, becoming a skilled Guitar player and a nationally ranked Boxer, all the while continuing to study and work on his Acting craft.
Continuing to do various plays in theatre was customary until Joey enrolled at his town's best private High School, The Aquinas Institute, where he excelled in not only the sports program but also in its theatre program. Joey starred in 8 out of 10 plays in High School.
Joey wasted no time in Acting his career and moved to Los Angeles just one month after his High School graduation at 18 years old. During his first few years in the industry, Joey worked on various Commercials and continued to study with Los Angeles' best teachers and mentors to continue excelling in his craft.
Joey was set to work alongside Bill Paxton, Ashley Judd, and Ty Simpkins in the Feature Film, "Life Briefly" However, due to the untimely passing of Director, Dan Ireland, in late 2016, the film was put on hold.
Some of Joey Sasso's most recent credits include a supporting role in the Comedy Feature Film "They Want Dick Dickster" which is the Directorial Debut of Robert R. Shafer, "The Office." Joey is also appearing in various Short Films in the Los Angeles area.
