John Pogue is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work in action, thriller, horror, and science-fiction films. He has worked extensively in Hollywood, contributing to both major studio productions and independent genre films.

 

 

Career

Pogue began his career as a screenwriter and worked on several commercially successful films. He co-wrote The Skulls (2000), a thriller directed by Rob Cohen, and later worked on projects including Rollerball (2002) and US Marshals (1998).

He moved into directing with the horror thriller Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011), followed by The Quiet Ones (2014), a supernatural horror film starring Jared Harris, Sam Claflin, and Olivia Cooke.

Pogue has also directed several action and science-fiction productions. His credits include Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020), Death of Me (2020), and Eradication (2022). His work frequently combines suspense, action, horror, and science-fiction elements.
