Biography
Jon Jones is an award-winning Welsh writer and director for television and film, known for his work on both British and American dramas such as The Diary of Anne Frank, Mr Selfridge, and NBC's Heroes Reborn. His career path began as a carpenter/art director before he studied at the National Film and Television School.
His diverse credits include the BAFTA-winning short film Edith's Finger, the highly-rated series Cold Feet, the award-winning television films When I'm Sixty-Four and A Very Social Secretary, and the feature film Last Summer, which he wrote and directed, winning the BAFTA Cymru for Best Feature Film in 2019. He has recently directed for Amazon Studios on the series Hanna.
