Joseph Stephens is an American composer, musician, and sound professional known for creating music for film and television. He is particularly recognized for his work on The Righteous Gemstones, Upload, Never Have I Ever, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Running Point.
Career
Stephens began his career working in sound departments before moving increasingly into music composition. His early credits include sound work on films such as Undertow (2004), The Foot Fist Way (2006), Great World of Sound (2007), and Observe and Report (2009). He has also been associated with the band Pyramid and later with City Wolf.
As a composer, Stephens has worked extensively in television. His notable credits include Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, The Last O.G., The Righteous Gemstones, Never Have I Ever, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Running Point.
