Judah Sandhy

Biography

Judah Sandhy is an Indian music composer, music director, background-score composer, and singer who predominantly works in the Kannada film industry. He was born on 21 January 1989 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He studied at St. Aloysius College in Bengaluru and developed an early interest in music, eventually pursuing it as a professional career.

Sandhy was a founding member and frontman of the Bengaluru-based band Slain. After college, he worked on commercials, jingles, and short films before establishing his own studio. His professional experience in advertising and independent music helped him transition into the film industry.

He made his debut as a film composer with the Kannada movie Thamisra (2015). He subsequently composed music for films such as Lifu Super (2016), Badmaash (2016), and Adbhutha (2016). His breakthrough came with Operation Alamelamma (2017), whose music and background score received considerable attention.

Sandhy has continued to work across Kannada and Telugu cinema. His notable credits include Chamak (2017), Thayige Thakka Maga (2018), 8MM Bullet (2018), ABCD: American Born Confused Desi (2019), Shivaji Surathkal (2020), Sakath (2021), Shubhamangala (2022), Shivaji Surathkal 2 (2023), Ramana Avatara (2024), and Gatha Vaibhava (2025).
