Julia Jones (born January 23, 1981) is an American actress who has garnered recognition for her work in both film and television.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Jones began her journey in the entertainment world at a young age, participating in commercials and community theater. She also trained at the Boston Ballet School. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York to attend Columbia University, where she earned a degree in English. During her time in college, she also modeled internationally for various prominent brands.
Jones's acting career took off in the early 2000s with roles in independent films. She gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Leah Clearwater in The Twilight Saga film series (Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and Breaking Dawn – Part 2).
She has since appeared in a variety of films, including Jonah Hex, Wind River, Cold Pursuit, and Think Like a Dog.
