Julian Horton is an American actor, former football player, and music producer who transitioned from sports to entertainment, gaining significant recognition in recent years for his roles in both film and television. Born on December 12, 1991, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Horton was raised in a faith-oriented environment and is a cousin of actor Donald Faison.
He grew up in Atlanta, where he completed his education at Greater Atlanta Christian School before attending the University of Arkansas. At Arkansas, he studied Communication and Media Studies while playing as a wide receiver for the Arkansas Razorbacks, later playing briefly for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans. However, an early exit from football led Horton to explore new career paths.
Horton's acting career began in 2016, initially balancing small roles in TV shows and commercials with a corporate job. Over time, his passion for acting grew, leading him to leave his corporate role in 2020 to pursue acting full-time. His early work included appearances in National Champions (2021) and Tough Love: Atlanta, along with smaller parts in Legacies and Fatal Attraction.
