Kalpana Chauhwan
Biography
Kalpana Chauhwan is best known for Dhaakad Chhora (2004). She is primarily a singer, especially known for Pahari and Uttarakhand folk music. She is often called the “Swar Kokila” (“melodious nightingale”) of Uttarakhand and started singing at age 15, releasing popular albums like Swami Di Pardesi Ma and Barmasa.
