Biography
Kanu Chauhan is a veteran Indian film producer and actor with a career spanning over 40 years in Bollywood. He began his journey in the industry as an actor, playing CBI officer Vijay in the 1984 action drama Jaaydaad. Later, he took on both acting and production roles in the 1994 drama Ghar Ki Izzat, where he portrayed Shyam Kumar alongside a star-studded cast, including Jeetendra, Rishi Kapoor, Kader Khan, Asha Parekh, Juhi Chawla, and Anita Raj.
In 2025, under his production banner Chauhan Studios, Chauhan produced Kesari Veer – Legends of Somnath, a historical epic highlighting the bravery of unsung warriors who defended the Somnath Temple in the 14th century. The film features Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi, and Akanksha Sharma in leading roles.
