Karl Walter Lindenlaub

Biography

Karl Walter Lindenlaub is a German cinematographer best known for his collaborations with the director Roland Emmerich. Their works include feature films like Stargate (1994) and Independence Day (1996). 

 

Since Lindenlaub`s initial work with commercials which was then followed by his debut with Hollywood Monster in 1987, he has garnered recognition for his direction of photography in several movies. 

 

Some of his notable projects include The Haunting (1999), The Princess Diaries (2001) and Ninja Assasins (2009). He has forayed into the TV industry as well, some of his credits being Suits (2016), Cosmos: Possible Worlds (2020) and Houdini (2014). He won an Emmy award for the latter. His 2020 releases also include Brahms: The Boy II.
