Biography
Karthik K. Thillai, also credited as Karthikkthillai, is an Indian cinematographer, writer, and producer who primarily works in Tamil cinema. He is best known for his cinematography on Gangs of Madras (2019), directed by C. V. Kumar.
He later worked as the cinematographer for the science-fiction thriller Jango (2021) and Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naatum Naatu Makkalum (2024). He also has writing and producing credits, including Boomer Uncle (2024).
For Gangs of Madras, Thillai's cinematography was recognized among the film's notable technical contributions, and he was listed as a 2019 Best Find of the Year nominee by the Common Man's Standardized Awards for Tamil Cinema.
