Kawal Sharma is an Indian film director, producer, writer, and editor who has primarily worked in the Hindi film industry. He was born on July 3, 1959, and became particularly active during the 1980s and 1990s. His career includes several action, drama, and comedy films, many of them featuring popular actors of that era.

 

 

Early Career

Kawal Sharma entered the Indian film industry as a filmmaker and gradually established himself as a director. His early work included Badla Aur Balidan, released in 1980, followed by other projects during the 1980s. He became known for working on commercial Hindi films that combined action, drama, romance, and entertainment.

 

 

Directorial Career

Sharma became particularly prominent during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Some of his notable films from this period include Jeete Hain Shaan Se, Mar Mitenge, Maalamaal, Ustaad, Dav Pech, Gunahon Ka Devta, and Paap Ki Kamaee. Several of these movies featured Mithun Chakraborty, with whom Sharma worked on multiple projects.

 

 

Jeete Hain Shaan Se featured Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Govinda, while Mar Mitenge starred Jeetendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, and Bhanupriya.
