Biography

Keiko Nakahara was born on 1 August 1977 in Japan. She is a cinematographer, known for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020), The Jane Austen Book Club (2007), and 3G: A Killer Connection (2013).

 

Cinematographer Keiko Nakahara`s repertoire spans Indian and American cinema, where she has worked in over a dozen movies. She is perhaps best known for helming the camera department in the critically acclaimed Bollywood biographical sports film Mary Kom (2014), which starred Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. Besides this, Nakahara has also served as an assistant in the Hollywood romantic drama The Jane Austen Book Club (2007).

Other significant film credits include the adult comedy Guddu Ki Gun (2015), the period political thriller Indu Sarkar (2017), the adventure comedy Total Dhamaal (2019), and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020).
