Kento Kaku
Biography
Kento Kaku was born on 3 July 1989 in Tokyo, Japan. He is a Japanese actor, producer, and writer who has built a successful career in film and television. He began acting professionally in the late 2000s and has since appeared in numerous Japanese dramas and films.
Kaku gained recognition through productions such as From Today, It's My Turn!! (2018), Nippon Noir (2019), Hanzawa Naoki (2020), and Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room (2021). He also appeared in the Netflix series Alice in Borderland (2020), further increasing his international profile.
One of his most significant projects is Netflix's House of Ninjas (2024), in which he stars as Haru Tawara, a member of a legendary ninja family. Kaku also served as a co-executive producer and was one of the creators behind the series' original story.
In addition to acting, Kaku has expanded into producing and writing. His work on House of Ninjas demonstrated his involvement behind the camera as well as in front of it. He is married to actress Nana Eikura, whom he married in August 2016.
