Kiran Rathod

Biography

Kiran Rathod is an Indian actress who has worked in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. She is known for her roles in films such as Gemini (2002), Villain (2002), Anbe Sivam (2003), Thirumalai (2003) and Winner (2003).   

Kiran Rathod was born on January 11, 1981, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She is the cousin of actress Raveena Tandon. Rathod graduated with a degree in Arts from Mithibai College in Mumbai. After college, she got into modelling and worked in a few Hindi pop albums. In 2001, she acted in the film Yaadein.   

Rathod made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film Gemini (2002). The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in several other successful Tamil films, such as Villain (2002), Anbe Sivam (2003), Thirumalai (2003) and Winner (2003).   

Rathod has also acted in a few Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films . Some of her notable Telugu films include Sriram (2002), Naani (2003,) and Andaru Dongale Dorikithe (2003). Her notable Malayalam film is Thandavam (2002). Here notable Kannada film is Manushya Mrugam (2005).   

In 2006, Rathod starred in the Hindi film Souten: The Other Woman. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in a few other Hindi films, such as Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002) and Souten (2006).   

Rathod made a comeback in 2009 with the Tamil film Naalai Namadhe. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in several other successful Tamil films, such as Jaggubhai (2010), Kevvu Keka (2013) and Saguni (2012).   

In 2014, Rathod starred in the Kannada film Maanikya. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in a few other Kannada films, such as Sikkapatte Istapatte (2016) and Jai Marigemma (2017).   

In 2015, Rathod starred in the Tamil film Aambala. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in a few other Tamil films, such as Bhaja Bhajantrilu (2016) and Muthina Kathirikka (2017).   

In 2018, Rathod starred in the Tamil film Sandakozhi 2. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in a few other Tamil films, such as Kanne Kanne (2019) and Kaappaan (2019).

In 2021, Rathod starred in the Tamil film Annaatthe. The film was a commercial success and she received critical acclaim for her performance. She then went on to star in a few other Tamil films, such as Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022) and Don (2022).
