Kishore Kumar Pardasani

Biography

Kishore Kumar Pardasani, popularly known as Dolly, was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and grew up in Vizianagaram. He completed his law degree from Maharaja College, Vizianagaram, and briefly practiced law before following his true passion — filmmaking. His deep interest in cinema led him to work as an assistant director under well-known Telugu filmmakers like Sreenu Vaitla and V. V. Vinayak, which gave him valuable experience in the craft.

Career Beginnings

Kishore made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam in 2009. The romantic comedy, starring Siddharth and Tamannaah, was both a critical and commercial success. The film was praised for its emotional depth and clean storytelling, marking him as a promising new director in Telugu cinema.

Rise to Prominence

After his successful debut, he directed Tadakha (2013), an action entertainer that became a hit with audiences. His breakthrough came with Gopala Gopala (2015), starring Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh. The film, a remake of OMG: Oh My God!, was well received for its balanced blend of humor, philosophy, and emotion.

In 2017, Kishore teamed up again with Pawan Kalyan for Katamarayudu, a family-action drama that further solidified his reputation as a director capable of handling star-driven projects with ease.
