K. M. Bhaskaran, born on April 14, 1982, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is a distinguished Indian cinematographer predominantly active in the Tamil film industry. He honed his craft at the M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute, earning a Diploma in Film Technology (D.F.Tech).
Bhaskaran embarked on his professional journey with the 2014 sports drama "Vallinam," directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam. The film, centered around basketball, was lauded for its dynamic visuals, particularly the climactic sequences, showcasing Bhaskaran's adeptness in capturing high-energy scenes.
In 2015, he collaborated with his mentor, Vijay Milton, on the action-packed "10 Endrathukulla," featuring Vikram and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Produced by AR Murugadoss under Fox Star Studios, the film's cinematography was praised for its visual brilliance, despite the movie receiving mixed reviews.
