K. Rajagopal
Biography
Veteran editor K. Rajagopal is a stalwart of his craft and has assembled hundreds of Malayalam movies in the course of an illustrious career spanning over three decades. A frequent collaborator of ace filmmaker Sathyan Anthikkad, Rajagopal has worked with the latter in many of his hit movies like Sanmanassullavarkku Samaadhaanam (1986), Pattanapravesam (1988), Mazhavil Kavadi (1989), Varavelpu (1989), Thalayanamanthram (1990) and Sandesham (1991). Many of these films have since gone on to become classics in the comedy genre in Mollywood.
Notable film credits in recent times include Vinodayathra (2007), the biographical drama Celluloid (2013), the romantic comedy Oru Indian Pranayakadha (2013) for which he won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor, Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017) and Njan Prakashan (2018)..
