K. Ravindra Babu
Biography
K Ravindra Babu is a Cinematographer who resides in his hometown, Hyderabad. He studied at SKVCM ZPH School Sangam, Jagarlamudi, Andhra Pradesh, from 1970-77. K. Ravindra Babu has worked as a Photographer in Indian movies since December 1979. He has been a Professional Photographer at Luvinshots Photography since January 2007 in Hyderabad. Before Sifea's (Southern Indian Film Editor's Association) establishment, he served as Vice-President for about 13 years (until 2013).
K. Ravindra Babu has edited 100-plus films in different languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Oriya. He worked with famous directors like Dasari Narayan Rao, Ravi Raja Pinisetty, EVV Satyanarayana, Kommineni, Devadas Kanakala, Relengi Narasimha Rao, Dhawala Satyam, Allani Sreedhar, and D. Prabhakar.
K. Ravindra Babu was a dubbing artist and an assistant director in movies like Love in Singapore (1980), Abbaigaru (1993), Brother Maa Naanaku Pelli, and Kanyadhanam (1998). He won the State Nandi Award in 1994 as the Best Editor in Hello Brother.
K. Ravindra Babu won the Bharatmuni Award in 1992 for Ankuram as the Best Editor. He won the Bharatmuni Award for Aame in 1995 as the Best Editor. He has also worked in Government Awarded films Komaram Bheem, Sreekaram, Gowtham Budda, and Prayogam.
He is also known for his work as a still photographer in Tere Mere Sapne (1996), as a camera operator in Janaki Ramudu (1988), as a cinematographer in Simhadri (2003), Rampur Ka Raja (1993), and Bobbili Raja (1990), and as an editor in Nuvvu Nenu Osey Orey (2017), Nagna Sathyam (2014), Hostel Days (2012), Vishakha Express (2008), Taarak (2003), Maavidakulu (1998), Aavida Maa Aavide (1998), Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu (1996), Dear Brother (1995), Subhadra (1995), Telugu Veera Levara (1995), Maga Rayudu (1994), Aa Okkati Adakku (1993), Jamba Lakidi Pamba (1993), Seetharathnamgari Abbayi (1992), and Appula Appa Rao (1991).
