K. Ravindran Nair was an Indian film producer best known for his significant contribution to Malayalam cinema. He was associated with several acclaimed films and played an important role in supporting meaningful, artistically ambitious projects.
He founded General Pictures, a production company through which he produced several notable Malayalam films. His work was particularly associated with director G. Aravindan, and their collaboration resulted in films that earned considerable critical recognition.
Among his best-known productions was Thampu (1978), directed by Aravindan. He also produced Kummatty (1979) and Esthappan (1980), films celebrated for their distinctive storytelling and artistic approach.
