K.R. Krishna Kumar
Biography
K. R. Krishna Kumar is an Indian screenwriter who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his collaborations with director Jeethu Joseph.
Krishna Kumar made his feature-film writing debut with 12th Man (2022), a mystery thriller directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal. The film follows a group of friends whose gathering takes an unexpected turn when hidden secrets and conflicts come to light.
He subsequently wrote Kooman (2022), directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Asif Ali. The film follows a strict police officer transferred to a hilly village on the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border, where seemingly ordinary incidents gradually become connected to a deeper mystery.
Krishna Kumar later collaborated with Jeethu Joseph again on Nunakuzhi (2024), a Malayalam comedy-thriller. His currently documented feature-film writing credits include Kooman and Nunakuzhi.
