Biography

Kunchacko Boban is an Indian actor and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. Born on 2 November 1976 in Alappuzha, Kerala, he belongs to the prominent Kunchacko family, which has a long association with Malayalam cinema.

Kunchacko Boban made his acting debut as a lead in ** Aniyathipraavu (1997)**, directed by Fazil. The film became a major commercial success and established him as one of the most popular young actors of Malayalam cinema. His pairing with Shalini became particularly popular among audiences.

During the late 1990s and early 2000s, he appeared in several successful romantic and family films, including Niram (1999), Prem Poojari (1999), Anandavaram (2000), Kasthuriman (2003) and Swapnakoodu (2003). He later took a break from acting before making a successful comeback with Gulumaal: The Escape (2009).
