Lee Eun Mi
Biography
Lee Eun-mi is a South Korean screenwriter known for her work in television dramas. Her writing credits include Tunnel (2017), Navillera (2021), and Nine Puzzles (2025).
She first gained recognition with Tunnel (2017), a crime thriller about a detective who travels through time while investigating a serial-murder case. The series combines crime investigation with time-travel elements and became one of OCN's notable dramas.
Lee later wrote Navillera (2021), a heartfelt drama about a 70-year-old man who decides to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a ballet dancer and a young ballet student struggling to find direction in life. The series focuses on dreams, family, friendship, and perseverance.
Her next major project was the Disney+ mystery crime thriller Nine Puzzles (2025), starring Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku. The series follows criminal profiler Jo I-na, whose uncle was murdered ten years earlier beside a mysterious puzzle piece. When similar puzzle pieces begin appearing at new murder scenes, she works with detective Han Saem to uncover the truth behind the connected cases. Lee Eun-mi wrote all 11 episodes of the series.
