Lee Hee Myung
Biography
Lee Hee-myung is a South Korean screenwriter, born in 1964. He has built a long career writing Korean television dramas across romance, comedy, mystery, fantasy, and thriller genres.
He is best known for writing Rooftop Prince (2012), a popular fantasy-romance drama involving time travel and reincarnation. He later wrote The Girl Who Sees Smells (2015), Beautiful Gong Shim (2016), and Reunited Worlds (2017).
In 2022, Lee wrote the Disney+ mystery thriller Revenge of Others, centered on a student investigating the suspicious death of her twin brother. His other writing credits include Queen of Ambition, Bad Family, My Fair Lady, Successful Story of a Bright Girl, Guardian Angel, and Mr. Q.
With decades of experience in Korean television, Lee Hee-myung is recognized for creating character-driven stories that blend romance, mystery, comedy, fantasy, and emotional drama.
