Biography
Lee Jin-wook, born on 16 September 1981 in Cheongju, South Korea, is a South Korean actor known for his work in television and film. He initially studied environmental engineering but left his studies to pursue an acting career. He began as a commercial model in 2003 and made his acting debut in the short film My New Boyfriend (2004).
He gained recognition through television dramas such as Glass Castle (2008–2009) and I Need Romance 2012 (2012). His performance in the time-travel drama Nine: Nine Time Travels (2013) brought him wider acclaim and helped establish him as a leading actor.
His notable film credits include Miss Granny (2014), The Target (2014), The Beauty Inside (2015), Time Renegades (2016), A Tiger in Winter (2018), and High Society (2018).
International audiences became particularly familiar with Lee through Netflix's Sweet Home (2020–2024), in which he played Pyeon Sang-wook. He subsequently appeared in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, Welcome to Wedding Hell, Doona!, Dear Hyeri, and Squid Game, where he portrayed Park Gyeong-seok (Player 246).
His more recent credits include Dark Nuns (2025), Seven O'Clock Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted (2025), and the television drama Beyond the Bar (2025).
