Biography

Lee Kwang-soo (이광수), born July 14, 1985, is a South Korean actor, entertainer, and model. He made his acting debut in the 2008 sitcom Here He Comes, but it was his diverse roles in various films and television dramas that cemented his status in the entertainment industry.

Lee gained significant recognition for his role in the 2014 medical melodrama It's Okay, That's Love, where he showcased his acting range and earned praise for his performance. 

 

He also appeared in the neo-noir film Confession (2014) and the black comedy Collective Invention (2015), both of which further expanded his acting portfolio. In 2016, he starred in the sitcom The Sound of Your Heart, which was based on a popular webtoon, and his performance earned him additional recognition.

 

In 2018, Lee featured in the drama Live, which dealt with the lives of police officers. His role in this series was well-received, and he continued to build his reputation as a versatile actor. He also appeared in the 2019 human comedy film Inseparable Bros, a heartwarming story that added to his wide-ranging filmography.

 

Beyond acting, Lee Kwang-soo is widely known for his role as a regular cast member of the popular South Korean variety show Running Man. He joined the show in June 2010, becoming one of its beloved personalities. Lee’s comedic timing, playful antics, and unique charm made him a favorite of the audience. After more than a decade on the show, he left in May 2021, with his final appearance airing on June 13, 2021.
