Litton Kumer Das is a prominent Bangladeshi cricketer known for his elegant right-handed batting and reliable wicketkeeping skills. Born on October 13, 1994, in Dinajpur, Bangladesh, he has been a vital part of the national team across all formats since his debut in 2015.
Early Life and Domestic Career
Litton's cricketing journey began at a young age. He represented Bangladesh in the Under-19 World Cups of 2012 and 2014, showcasing his potential on the international stage. His domestic career took off with Rangpur Division, where he made his first-class debut in 2011. In the 2014–15 National Cricket League, he was the top scorer, amassing 1,024 runs at an average of 85.33, including five centuries, leading Rangpur to the championship. His consistent performances earned him a spot on the national team.
International Career
Litton made his Test debut against India on June 10, 2015, and his ODI debut shortly after on June 18, 2015, also against India. He has since become a mainstay in the Bangladeshi batting lineup. Notably, he holds the record for the highest individual score by a Bangladeshi in ODIs, scoring 176 runs.
In T20 Internationals, Litton has been instrumental at the top of the order. On March 29, 2023, he recorded the fastest T20I fifty by a Bangladeshi, reaching the milestone in just 18 balls against Ireland.

In September 2024, during a Test series against Pakistan, Litton achieved 12 dismissals, the most by a Bangladeshi wicketkeeper in a Test series. He was named Player of the Match for his 138-run innings in the same series.
Personal Life
Litton hails from a Bengali Hindu family in Dinajpur. He married his long-time girlfriend, Devashri Biswas Sonchita, on July 28, 2019. The couple welcomed their daughter in November 2023.
