Born in Rome in 1973, Mieli established himself early as a driving force in production. He first founded the production company Wilder in 2001, focusing on television. In 2009, he co-founded Wildside with Mario Gianani, merging their expertise to create a company that would quickly become known for producing both critically acclaimed films and successful television series.
His executive acumen led him to a long tenure at Fremantle, where he eventually led its Italian operations and, notably, launched The Apartment Pictures in 2020.
