Lorenzo Zurzolo
Biography
Lorenzo Zurzolo, born on March 21, 2000, in Rome, Italy, is an Italian actor who began his career as a child and later became known for his work in film and television. He developed an interest in acting at a young age and studied at the Omnes Artes acting school in Rome. He also performed in theatre, including the role of Pinocchio in a stage production.
Zurzolo made early television appearances in series such as Don Matteo, Amiche mie, I liceali, and Un passo dal cielo. He made his film debut with A Perfect Family (2012) and later appeared in Outing – Fidanzati per sbaglio (2013) and Sconnessi (2018).
His breakthrough came with the Netflix series Baby (2018–2020), in which he played Niccolò Rossi Govender. He subsequently starred in films including Under the Riccione Sun (2020), Weekend (2020), Morrison (2021), EO (2022), and Under the Amalfi Sun (2022). His performance in Morrison earned him a Nastro d'Argento recognition.
He also became part of the main cast of Prisma (2022–2024), the coming-of-age series created by Ludovico Bessegato and Alice Urciuolo. His later credits include Diabolik: Who Are You? (2023), La Storia (2024), and Mussolini: Son of the Century (2024–2025).
