Loy Mendonsa
Biography
Before becoming a music composer, Loy Mendonsa played the piano for prominent Indian music composers such as A. R. Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan.
Loy began his career by composing the signature tune for `The World This Week` show on Doordarshan. He has since, collaborated with Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani to form the musical trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Together, they have made songs like Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe (2001), Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe (2003), Meri Duniya Tu Hi Re (2007), Uff Teri Adaa (2010) and Maston Ka Jhund (2013).
Loy has composed music for the 2016 films Baar Baar Dekho, Rock On 2 and Mirzya. His 2018 release includes Halkaa.
