Madhurjeet Sarghi
Biography
Madhurjeet Sarghi is a theatre, film, and TV actress as well as a casting director. Hailing from Jalandhar, the older daughter of Harjit Singh, also a filmmaker, Madhurjeet was always taking part in stage plays and telefilms.
After her marriage to director Anurag Singh, she moved to Mumbai and bagged TV opportunities. She appeared in shows like Na Aana Is Des Laado and Radha Ki Betiya Kuch Kar Dikhayengi.
She made her debut in a feature film in Summer 2007 (2008). Later she worked in blockbuster films like Agneepath (2012) and Manto (2018). Her theatre work has also continued in Mumbai with the Jashn-e-Qalam group. Her 2020 releases include Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar.
