Mahesh Menon is a Filmmaker and Executive Producer with experience in leadership roles in filmmaking, programming, and developing shows.
He has worked as a development and executive producer for shows such as Taaza Khabar, The Great Indian Murder, Aakhri Sach, Criminal Justice - Adhura Sach, City Of Dreams, and many more
He has conceptualized and directed documentaries on equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ community, and the 2019 Indian elections; covered the Black Lives Matter protests in London, and has experience working with artists from India and Europe.
Over the course of his career, he has conceptualized and directed more than 100+ digital films with brands like Disney’s Aladdin, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Dharma Productions, Times Network, Phantom Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, ArtsTemps London, T-Series, Ed Sheeran Divide World Tour, A R Rahman Encore Concert amongst others.
He has directed original content with some of India’s top artists like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anurag Kashyap, Sanjay Mishra and Pankaj Tripathi.
Mahesh has a master’s degree in media, communication, and critical practice, from the University of the Arts London, wherein he wrote his dissertation on the ‘Representation of the Queer South Asian community in British Film practice’, exploring the intersection of being a South Asian and Queer.
