Biography
Manoj Pandit, born on January 26, 1971, in Arwal, Bihar, India, is an Indian actor, cartoonist, educator, and television personality who works in Hindi films. He studied at the Fine Arts College of Arts & Crafts at Patna University and has been married to Anita Pandit since June 25, 1999.
Pandit has appeared in over a dozen Hindi films and several television serials since the late 1990s. He made his television debut in 1992 and appeared in serials such as Khiladi (1998) on DD Metro, Ram Gopal (1998), Detective Karan (2003–2005), and Talaash (1992). His notable film roles include Dear Vs Bear (2014), Love Aur Rajneeti (2016), Pratighat (2018), and Pyaar Banam Khap Panchayat (2020).
He has delivered memorable performances in Daroga Chale Sasural (2015), The Love Is Forever (2015), Dagabaaz Piritiya (2018), and Different (2021). Pandit is also known for playing iconic villainous roles, such as the municipal contractor in the upcoming film Safaibaaz – The Scavenger (2021), which is based on the lives of manual scavengers. His other upcoming films include Sitamgar, Chhichhore, and Niyat.
He has received numerous accolades, including the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial Award (2015) for Best Teacher, the R.K. Laxman Memorial Award, and recognition at the International Children’s Film Festival in Daudnagar, Bihar (2020).
