Manoranjan Ravichandran
Biography
Manoranjan Ravichandran (born December 11, 1987) is an Indian actor who primarily works in Kannada films. He comes from a distinguished cinematic family, being the son of prominent Kannada actor and director V. Ravichandran and Sumathy. He is also the grandson of the notable South Indian film producer N. Veeraswamy, and has a sister, Geethanjali, and a brother, Vikram.
Manoranjan initially harbored aspirations of becoming a professional cricketer, even playing at the district level. However, a hand injury prevented him from pursuing this dream further, eventually leading him into the film industry. To prepare for his acting career, he undertook extensive training, attending acting classes at Abhinaya Tharanga, where he was trained by A. S. Murthy's daughter. He also learned dance in Chennai and martial arts in Bangalore.
He made his acting debut in 2017 with the Kannada film "Saheba," directed by Bharath. While the film received mixed reviews, his performance was generally praised, earning him a nomination for the South Indian International Movie Award for Best Debutant Actor in a Leading Role (Male).
Following "Saheba," Manoranjan continued to take on diverse roles. His other films include:
