Manu Anand
Biography
Manu Anand is an Indian film director and writer who primarily works in the Tamil film industry. He gained recognition for directing the films Mr. X and FIR. Born in Kottarakara, Kollam district, Kerala, Manu completed his primary education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Balakok Matriculation School. He pursued a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from Saveetha University and later completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Manu made his directorial debut with the 2022 Tamil action-thriller FIR, which earned him critical acclaim and recognition for his work. In 2023, he directed another action thriller, Mr. X, which is currently ongoing. His creative contributions have captivated audiences, and he continues to refine his skills as a director.
In his free time, Manu enjoys traveling, reading, watching films, and spending time with cats and dogs. His passion for storytelling and his commitment to his craft have helped him carve out a niche in the Tamil film industry.
