Biography
Marc Bienstock is an American film and television producer and production manager known for his work on feature films and television series. He has built an extensive career in Hollywood, working in production and producing roles across a variety of genres.
Bienstock is particularly associated with filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan's productions. He served as a producer on The Visit (2015), Split (2016), Glass (2019), Old (2021), Knock at the Cabin (2023), and Trap (2024).
He also worked extensively in television. Bienstock served as co-executive producer on the Apple TV+ science-fiction thriller series Shining Girls (2022), contributing to all eight episodes. The series starred Elisabeth Moss, Wagner Moura, Phillipa Soo, and Jamie Bell.
His television production credits also include Homecoming, Quantum Leap, and Countdown. On Quantum Leap, he worked as a producer and co-executive producer across 22 episodes.
For Trap (2024), directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Josh Hartnett, Bienstock served as one of the film's producers. The psychological crime thriller follows a father who takes his teenage daughter to a concert and discovers that the event is actually the center of a police operation targeting a dangerous killer.
