Editor Mary Jo Markey is popular for working predominantly in Hollywood and is a frequent collaborator with J. Abrams. In the initial years of her career, she was associated with Mariette in Ecstasy (1996) and Dawg (2002) after which she eventually moved on to bigger productions.
She has been a part of popular hits like Mission: Impossible III (2006), Star Trek (2009), Killers (2010), Super 8 (2011), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) for which she bagged an Academy Award nomination, The Great Wall (2016), and Life (2017), among others. As of 2019, she is associated with the third film in the franchise Charlie`s Angels.
