Biography
Mary Lynn Rajskub is an American actress, comedian, and writer, born on June 22, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan. She studied art at the College for Creative Studies and later attended the San Francisco Art Institute before pursuing comedy and acting.
Rajskub began her television career as a cast member of Mr. Show with Bob and David and later appeared in The Larry Sanders Show, Veronica's Closet, and Gilmore Girls. She also built a film career with appearances in Punch-Drunk Love, Sweet Home Alabama, Little Miss Sunshine, Firewall, and Julie & Julia.
Her breakthrough came with the action-thriller series 24, where she played Chloe O'Brian, a skilled CTU analyst and one of Jack Bauer's most trusted allies. She joined the series in 2003 and became a major cast member, later reprising the role in 24: Live Another Day.
Rajskub has continued working in comedy, television, and film, appearing in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Dropout, The Tomorrow War, and Accused. She is also a longtime stand-up comedian and released the book Fame-ish: My Life at the Edge of Stardom in 2022.
