Matthew Medlin
Biography
Matthew Medlin is an American producer and production manager who has worked extensively in film and television. He began his career in independent filmmaking and production, later moving into larger studio and television projects.
He is known for producing the coming-of-age drama The Spectacular Now (2013), as well as working as a unit production manager on Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015). His other production credits include Obselidia, Losing Control, The D Train, Brigsby Bear, Brightburn, and Countdown.
Medlin served as unit production manager and producer on Netflix's Beef (2023). The series won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, with Medlin credited among the producers, and he also received a PGA Award for the production.
His career spans independent films, television production, and streaming series, with particular experience in production management and producing.
