Biography

Meenakshi Govindarajan is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil cinema. Born on 12 April 2000 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, she has built a career across television and films, becoming known for her natural screen presence and performances in a variety of roles.

Early Life and Education

Meenakshi completed her schooling at Seventh Day Adventist Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Madurai before pursuing a degree in Visual Communication at Women's Christian College in Chennai. Her academic background in visual communication provided her with an additional connection to the world of media and filmmaking.

Television Career

Meenakshi began her screen career through Tamil television. She appeared in Saravanan Meenatchi and later participated in the reality show Villa To Village. These early television appearances helped her gain recognition among Tamil audiences and provided her with valuable experience in front of the camera.

Film Career

Meenakshi made her Tamil film debut with Suseenthiran's Kennedy Club (2019). She portrayed a kabaddi player in the sports drama, which starred M. Sasikumar and Bharathiraja. The film allowed her to transition from television into feature films.

She subsequently appeared in Velan (2021), a family-oriented drama in which she played Ananya. She followed this with Veerapandiyapuram (2022), directed by Suseenthiran, in which she portrayed Venba opposite Jai.

In 2022, she also appeared in Cobra, directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, playing Judith Samson. Her filmography expanded further with Demonte Colony 2 (2024), where she played Adithi.

Meenakshi continued her film career with 2K Love Story (2025), in which she played Monica, also known as Moni. She also appeared in Vattakhanal (2025) as Varsha.
